Bare single-stud partitions sit at the low end; adding batt insulation and resilient channel carries the assembly to the top of the range.
Floors
InterpolatedIIC 50–73
Finish-dependent, LVP with a pad lands mid-range for residential and multi-unit; carpet tile tops out the scale for the quietest floors.
